Daymare I is a first-person perspective dungeon crawler, and the original game upon which its better known sequel Daymare 2 is based. There is not much story given; you simply roll your character and proceed into the maze. Unlike the sequel, there is no auto-map, so navigation can be tricky. However the game is still quite easy to get the hang of, and it doesn’t seem to punish new players with excruciating difficulty like many games in the PC dungeon-crawler genre.
