Endless Legend is a 4X turn-based strategy game in which the player fights for dominance in the fantasy world called Auriga. There are eight distinct factions to choose from, each with its own play style, units and bonuses. There are eight victory conditions (Elimination, Expansion, Score, Economic, Diplomatic, Wonder, Scientific, Supremacy).
Unlike similar titles, the maps are divided to regions, and cities in them are fully functional upon construction and take control over the region they are built in. The terrain varies in biomes, which affects the players’ units and their behaviour. Seasons change from summer to winter, with winter slowing down unit movement, reducing the line of sight and denying food production unless appropriate upgrades are available. Every scientific achievement belongs to one of six eras, with each era (save the first) having a minimum number of technologies from the previous era that needs to be researched in order to be unlocked. Players can also mutually negotiate and trade. Minor factions which can be assimilated are also present, which give their new masters units and special traits.
Next to the base game, this Classic Edition, the base version of the game, contains a digital version of the soundtrack, a badge for the Amplitude account and 500 G2G to the value of the votes on the website.
