Incunabula: The Unspoken Secrets is a traditional RPG game which bills itself as being “similar to the Final Fantasy series by SquareSoft”. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, as this game is pretty bland in comparison, but it has an interesting style (in high-res 640×480) and seems to use its own proprietary engine. You get the impression that the graphics were cobbled together from various sources available to the author and that this was likely the developer’s first “real” game, possibly created using QuickBasic. It’s unknown whether the full game was actually ever finished, but this demo includes the first two chapters of the game.
