Might & Magic: The Lava Pits of Aznar is a text-based adventure game with RPG elements for the Apple II.
Create a character and travel the dark worlds on Wingster in search of treasure and power. Journey into the Lava Pits of Aznar in search of the amulet of the High Lord. Designed as an adventure game with roleplaying elements, the player at the beginning of each game chooses from either Wizard, Warrior, or Thief, and from 4 different races. Statistics are modified on character creation. The player must explore the underground via basic text VERB NOUN commands, but also must navigate combat against the denizens of the lava pits. Characters must eat and sleep during their adventure, and their statistics will be reduced if they do not remain healthy.
